Jim Rosson, MSN, FNP-C joined our Lubbock Primary Care provider team earlier this year. With 21 years of experience in the medical field, Jim brings a wealth of knowledge to our clinic, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have him with us serving our patients at our University location!
Jim is a Lubbock native and Texas Tech University grad. He began his career as an RN in 2003 before heading back to school to obtain his Master of Science in Nursing and become a family nurse practitioner in 2020.
Jim is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to his patients and is dedicated to developing personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's individual needs and preferences. As a nurse practitioner, Jim can provide a wide variety of primary care services to patients of all ages, including:
- Routine check-ups and physical exams
- Health screenings and assessments
- Diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses
- Management of chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and thyroid
- Pediatric care
- Immunizations and vaccinations
- Patient education and counseling
- Weight loss management
- Hormone replacement therapy
